SUMMARY:An Open-Source Framework for AMS Modeling and Verification
DESCRIPTION:Work-in-Progress Poster\n\nWilliam Salcedo and Sara Achour (St
anford University)\n\nResearchers have previously developed advanced analy
sis tools that identify fault-causing inputs in complex digital designs. O
ne contributing factor to the success of these tools is the availability o
f publicly available digital designs and open-source execution flows. We o
bserve the field of AMS circuit verification currently lacks an open-sourc
e, mixed-signal (AMS) execution flow that targets AMS system designs. We p
resent VerA, an analysis-friendly open-source AMS modeling and simulation
framework works with open-source digital simulators. VerA's compiler emplo
ys optimizations to reduce the state space of the digitized analog model a
nd seamlessly integrates digital and analog blocks, enabling easier analys
is of the AMS system.\n\nTopic: AI, Autonomous Systems, Cloud, Design, EDA
