Georgios Zervakis is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Engineering & Informatics, University of Patras, Greece, since September 2022. Prior to joining University of Patras, he served as a Research Group Leader at the Chair for Embedded Systems (CES), Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany, for three years. Dr. Zervakis received his Diploma and Ph.D. degrees from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece, in 2012 and 2018, respectively. He has worked in numerous EU and nationally funded research projects. Dr. Zervakis actively engages in academic communities, serving as a reviewer for several IEEE and ACM Transactions journals, and as a technical program committee member for the major design conferences. His primary research interests include digital design, low-power, approximate computing, design automation, logic synthesis, emerging technologies, and machine learning.
