Biography
Hitu Sharma is a Principal Engineer at NXP. She is part of methodology group and leads the digital design and verification support activities for NXP chips. Innovation and automation are key driving factors throughout her 16 years of Industrial journey. She is eager on improving the design and verifications methods that can result in fast TTM.
Before joining NXP Hitu was part of Application Engineering Group at MathWorks focusing on Signal processing and FPGA Prototyping. She supported number of Industrial establishments all over the globe, projects based on Signal Processing and Communication. She was also involved with educational establishments for Faculty development programs and project-based learning on low-cost hardware. She has 11+ years of experience in FPGA based prototyping, product development and embedded design development (Linux/Windows) with semiconductor and Aerodef Industries. Prior to joining MathWorks Hitu Sharma has worked as design engineer with HCL, TATA Advanced Systems and as a Senior R & D engineer for two startups. She has prototyped a serial cryptographic unit and a technical key generation unit. She as designed IP cores for cryptographic algorithms and Digital receiver chain for the ground surveillance RADAR systems. She has represented her work on many platforms, including NCC, Defense EXPO, MATLAB Expo. Her areas of interest include ASIC design and verification, Signal processing, and Digital Communication. She holds a Master ’s degree in Embedded System Design from BITS Pillani.
